Dear Fellow Member:
It is easy to sign up for our much heralded Spring Meeting in The Big Easy, just log onto our website at abanet.org/genpractice, click on "GP|Solo Spring Meeting," and follow the instructions. Or, just click here:
Learn how to simplify your practice from some of the best and the brightest practitioners in the country by attending our numerous committee meetings. Take some time for leisure by attending the world famous New Orleans Jazz Fest. Enjoy an excellent lunch and honor one of our most selfless contributors to the cause of solo and small firm lawyers, Revenue Director and Lifetime Achievement Award winner Charlie White as he retires from active service to the Division after 44 years. Finally, help the struggling New Orleans community by participating in our public service projects from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m on Friday, May 2nd at the Family Justice Center and the Crescent House Healing Center.
At the Family Justice Center, volunteers will help set up the new indoor child and family play center, as well as set up furniture and new, donated toys. At the Crescent House Healing Center, volunteers will help develop outdoor children’s play area, including spreading mulch and planting. Add to all of this the experience that is New Orleans, and you will no doubt enjoy yourself.
Thank you for reading this publication, your participation and your commitment to the Division.
