Product Downloads

Accessing Your Digital Products

Access your e-books, on-demand, and other digital products in the Digital Products section of My ABA. For each product, follow the on-screen instructions to download a file (e-books, chapters, single issues, etc.) or access your streaming on-demand video.

To view your orders of digital products, go to Order History in My ABA or select the Order History link on the navigation bar.

Access Limits

For downloadable titles (e-books, PDFs, single issues, etc.), download and save a copy before the end of the access period. On-demand products will not be available after the expiration date and can only be streamed; they cannot be downloaded.

Download Requirements

E-Book Formats

All e-books require e-reader software to display the e-book on your desktop, laptop, or mobile device. If you do not already have an e-reader installed, you can download any e-reader of your choice. E-books (including chapters, single issues, and course materials) are available in one or more of the following formats:

  • iOS/Android/eReader Version (EPUB) is an e-book file format that can be read on a range of devices. The ABA recommends using Adobe Digital Editions for Windows and Mac OS, Apple Books for iOS, or Google Play Books for Android or Chrome.
  • Kobo Version (MOBI) is an e-book file format that can be read on a Rakuten Kobo e-reader or using the Kobo Books App.
  • PDF/Adobe Acrobat Reader Version (PDF) is a web-standard document format that can be read with Adobe Acrobat Reader software. On the Digital Products page, click the Download button to view and select from available formats for your purchased content.

Live Webinars, Virtual Events, and On-Demand Access

Live Webinars and Virtual Events

Live webinars and virtual events produced by the ABA have the following system requirements:

  • Latest version of the web browser of your choice, with JavaScript enabled.
  • A high-speed Internet connection (56K or higher)

Test the device in advance that you plan to use during the program.

On-Demand Access

On-demand content is available via a range of video platforms. From the Digital Products page, click on the Access Course button and then follow the on-screen instructions.

CLE Credit

Webinar Attendance Requirements

You must attend the entire webinar, including the Q&A, to receive CLE credit. Partial credit is not available for the live program or recording if you access the program late or disconnect. Check a webinar’s website to verify that it is eligible for credit (The ABA does not have the authority to override this requirement.)

Online Course Participation Requirements

You must review the entire online course and record the participation verification code to receive credit. At the conclusion of the recording, a link will appear with instructions for obtaining MCLE certificates. Since certificates are dependent on your participation, this link will not appear if you fast forward during the program. All attorneys must report their attendance per their states' reporting requirements.
