This December will mark the 75th Anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR). While progress has been made over the last 75 years to provide greater protection for human rights, these rights remain under threat. To celebrate the ongoing relevance of the UDHR, the ABA International Law Section is partnering with the Paris Bar Association to present a three-day Conference that will focus on the achievements, challenges, and road ahead for the UDHR and human rights more generally, particularly from the perspective of businesses and their legal representatives.
Information & - RegistrationThis four-day conference on the future of energy will be held in Houston, Texas, at the Hilton University of Houston, with two full days of programming on February 28-29. The opening reception on Tuesday, February 27, will take place in the new John M. O’Quinn Law Building. On Wednesday, February 28, we will enjoy a reception at the Hilton University of Houston. On Thursday, February 29, we are planning an evening at the rodeo, and we plan to close the conference on Friday, March 1, with a visit to Space Center Houston, where we hope to have a special program discussing what NASA is developing from an energy perspective.
