The Copyright Claims Board (CCB) was introduced by its speakers, Whitney Levandusky and Monica McCabe, who discussed the CCB's functions, the types of claims it handles, and its benefits over other legal avenues. They also highlighted the need for pro bono assistance to navigate the CCB's requirements and the progress of the CCB's pro bono programs since its opening. The team also discussed their work with VLA and law schools to provide pro bono assistance to claimants, the challenges they faced with misrepresentation cases, and their openness to collaborate with other organizations and individuals interested in pro bono work.
