The Health Reform Task Force’s principal purposes are to:

(i) Keep ABA Health Law Section members regularly informed of ACA-related health care reform initiatives by the federal Executive Branch, Congress, state governments, and the private sector (inclusive of Medicaid reforms, state-based health benefit coverage programs, and ACA provider payment and delivery system reforms) through regular publications in the Health eSource, Health Lawyer, and HLbytes, and through participation as speakers/panel members at the Emerging Issues in Healthcare Law Conference, Physicians Legal Issues Conference, and the Washington Health Law Summit; and (ii) serve as a liaison to the Health Law & Policy Coordinating Committee to coordinate with this Committee on policy matters related to the above-described reforms. Note the task force does not advocate for any specific health care reform initiatives or health care policy positions.
