Alexander Baker, Program Associate, joined ABA ROLI's Europe and Eurasia division in September 2022, previously working at the National Democratic Institute (NDI) as a Project Assistant for the Central Europe and Eurasia division. 

Originally from East St. Louis, Illinois, he began his journey into politics and government in high school. Alex attended the University of Kentucky, where he graduated with a bachelor's in political science and a bachelor's in international studies in 2019. While in his final year at the University of Kentucky, he had an opportunity to clerk for Kentucky State Senator, Reginald Thomas. While at the Kentucky General Assembly, Alex gained first-hand experience in government and legislative processes. After undergraduate studies, he attended Georgetown University to obtain his masters in Democracy and Governance.
