Speakers

Heather Fine is a Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Chicago office, where she is an executive recruiter placing lawyers in-house in company law departments. She has worked as a lawyer in Washington, DC in the public interest and government sectors, after beginning her legal career in a boutique family law firm in Maryland. Heather went to Colby College and graduated with honors from Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law.

Mark Smith is Associate Vice Chancellor and Director of the Career Center at Washington University in St. Louis. Mark began his career in law as an associate at a large firm and then ran for US Congress. Prior to his current role (among other things) advising pre-law undergraduates, he was Associate Dean of Student Affairs at Washington University School of Law, his alma mater. He got his AB at Harvard.
