Cheryl Heisler practiced as a transactional associate in Chicago before transitioning to an alternative role as a brand manager in a major corporation. She received so much publicity in the legal press, she started Lawternatives to counsel lawyers in changing jobs or careers. Cheryl is a graduate of Northwestern Law School.

Marc Luber graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law in Chicago and moved to LA to pursue a career in the music industry. He met with success before deciding to become a legal search professional. Putting his media expertise to work, Marc created JD Careers Out There, where he interviews lawyers about their careers, traditional and alternative. The ABA hailed JDCOT as one of the top 100 law blogs of 2013.
