Description

In this segment, we’ll explore a career path in E-Discovery, which is an area hiring more and more attorneys in various roles as it has grown to a multi-billion dollar industry that is rapidly evolving. E-Discovery entails the collection, review, management, and use of electronically stored information (ESI) during the discovery phase of litigation in response to a Request for Production. In large-scale cases, it is one of the most crucial steps in trial preparation. Our speaker, Steve Kennedy, is a senior project manager and team lead for Inventus, an international discovery management practice. He’ll provide invaluable insight into what skills you’ll need to break into this area, what drew him to it, the pros and cons, and what a typical day in his practice entails.
