JusTRAC+ Interagency Roundtable Series: Strengthening Coordination to Counter Corruption Abroad – the New U.S. Strategy

In furtherance of the new U.S. Strategy on Countering Corruption, the INL-supported JusTRAC+ Program hosted a series of virtual interagency roundtables to explore how to strengthen coordination and cooperation, both within the U.S. Government (USG) and with external stakeholders, to enable the strategy’s success.  This series, held over the course of a week, brought together key contributors to articulate how changes to the USG’s approach to corruption—as described in the Strategy’s pillars and objectives—will be achieved, and how these are envisioned to advance the Strategy’s desired end states.

Each roundtable will focus on one strategic pillar to: 1) identify further areas for potential USG coordination to promote desired end states, and 2) discuss possible indicators to evaluate progress, to share informally and possibly inform Administration efforts to monitor progress in implementing the strategy (without prejudice to White House guidance on NSC-led coordination). This will contribute to each agency’s thinking about strategic plan implementation.
