In 2020, ABA ROLI initiated the Niger Human Rights and Access to Justice Activity. This USAID-supported project is implemented as part of the Human Rights Support Mechanism, in consortium with Freedom House and Search for Common Ground (Search).
Background
In 2020, ABA ROLI initiated the Niger Human Rights and Access to Justice Activity. This program, which ABA ROLI conducts in collaboration with Search for Common Ground, seeks to reduce vulnerability to violent extremism. It promotes citizens’ access to state justice institutions to resolve disputes, and increases the capacity of the country’s government and civil society to address human rights violations.
