Video: Community Rights and Resource Justice in Guinea

The ABA Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) hosted a discussion surrounding community rights and resource justice. The conversation centered on ABA ROLI’s recently published toolkit for use in mining communities, specifically in Guinea. Deborah Enix-Ross of the ABA Africa Council moderated the discussion while Lien De Brouckere of ABA ROLI and Indira Sarma of Namati shared their knowledge and insight to kick off a Q&A style conversation. Participants viewing from the online stream were also able to post questions to our online forum and contribute to the dialogue about protecting communities who may face large-scale natural resource extraction and management projects. You can view a video of the October 27 event below.
