As 2015—ABA ROLI's 25th year—comes to a close, it's a time of stock-taking, of the rule of law challenges in the world and our work to meet them.
The challenges are significant. As just one measure, 2015 saw a record nearly 60 million people forced from their homes, fleeing violent extremism, conflict, environmental degradation and economic despair. Together with our justice sector partners in more than 60 countries worldwide, ABA ROLI is working to marshal the rule of law response. Whether it’s organizing legal aid for displaced Syrians in Turkey, supporting transitional justice and reconciliation in Mali or combating corruption in Ukraine, ABA ROLI is working on the rule of law frontlines. We support justice ministries, prosecutors and courts as well as legal aid clinics and civil society activists—everywhere seeking to foster both supply and demand for justice.
The support and involvement of myriad volunteers and donors makes this possible. In this giving season, we hope you will support ABA ROLI, our global partners and our volunteers as we advance the rule of law. Click here to make your tax-deductible donation, 100% of which will be directed to ABA ROLI through the ABA's tax-exempt Fund for Justice and Education.
Thank you for your commitment to global justice!
Many thanks and best wishes for 2016,
