Margaret Gallagher

Margaret Gallagher, Program Officer, comes to ABA ROLI with over seven years of experience in international relations and crime victim advocacy. Most recently Margaret worked at Polaris (Formerly Polaris Project) as a High Priority Human Trafficking Victim Advocate. Margaret worked with all levels of local and federal law enforcement including the Department of Homeland Security, The Office of Trafficking In Persons, and the Federal Bureau of Investigations. Margaret has a Masters in Global Security Studies from Johns Hopkins University and an undergraduate degree in International Studies, Economics and Philosophy (Ethics). Margaret formerly worked as a Representative to the United Nations on behalf of the NGO Committee on Disarmament Peace and Security. During her time at the American Iranian Council, Margaret discovered her passion for women’s rights and international peace and justice.
