Venus joined ABA ROLI in February 2021 where she supports access to justice and judicial strengthening work. Venus has over 10 years of international development experience, having worked and lived in east Asia and North Africa. Venus joined ABA ROLI from IRI where she was leading the North Africa portfolio, working on governance, political parties, peacebuilding, and civil society programming. Prior to IRI, Venus led CVE-focused projects in Mali, Cameroon, Chad, Niger, and Burkina Faso.
Venus holds a Bachelor or Arts in International Studies from Utah State University and an LL.M in International Law from Universite de Montreal.
