Tamar Tkabladze

Sr. Program Officer

Tamar Tkabladze, Program Officer, joined ABA ROLI in November 2018 and supports programming in Russia and the Caucasus region. She holds a B.A. in International Relations with a minor in Russian, Eurasian, and Eastern European Studies from the University of Virginia, as well as participated in an EU-Focused International Relations exchange program at University College Oxford. Throughout her academic career, she interned with numerous International Development-related Non-Profit organizations, such as the International Rescue Committee (IRC), where she worked directly with refugees in resettlement programs. Ms. Tkabladze also gained field experience supporting operations for the International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED), an election monitoring NGO based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Prior to joining the ABA, Ms. Tkabladze took on a project management-based role as the Global Operations Coordinator on the international team of a leading technology company, collaborating directly with partners and local staff in the EMEA and APAC regions. Born in the Republic of Georgia, she possesses Georgian language skills, in addition to working knowledge of Russian, French, and Spanish.
