Inna has 20 years of international development and non-profit experience working across multiple technical areas at USAID, private foundations, and international development organizations.
Inna brings a business development, project support and partnership building experience, knowledge of major development concepts and practices in Democracy and Governance, and USG contract and grant administration. She understands compliance, collaboration, and communication requirements of headquarters-based program support as well as the operational realities of field-based program management.
Inna has worked for 16 years at USAID/Russia’s Office of Democratic Initiatives as Head of the Civil Society Unit and later as Senior Democracy and Governance Advisor, providing strategic and technical oversight of the design, implementation and evaluation of human rights, political participation, conflict mitigation, NGO law and NGO sector development programs.
Later, in the capacity of Technical Specialist in Civic Engagement and Governance at World Learning, she designed and provided technical leadership for projects on public oversight mechanisms, CVE, advocacy, accountability, and youth development in Nigeria, Macedonia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Mexico and Ukraine.
Recently as a Senior Program Manager at SNV USA (DevWorks) she oversaw project implementation and provided headquarters-based program support for agriculture, climate change, youth employment and WASH projects in Cambodia, Mali, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, and Vietnam. She also served as a Governance and Civil Society Strengthening Advisor, contributed to program design, developed new practice areas and created organizational knowledge management tools.
Inna has an MBA from Kingston University in the UK and an MS in Hydrology and Engineering from Moscow State University in Russia.
