Shinta Permata Sari joined ABA ROLI in June 2022 as a Program Officer for the Right to Resilience Program in Indonesia. She has years of experience in managing regional projects and activities in South East Asia. Prior to joining ABA ROLI, she worked with the ASEAN Secretariat as the Education, Youth and Sports Officer, managing the coordination and providing technical support to the secretariat and the ASEAN member states on the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation, as well as reporting of various regional projects and activities across the three sectors.
Shinta obtained her Master of Arts in International Relations, with particular focus on International Security, from the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, and a Bachelor's Degree in International Relations from Universitas Padjadjaran, Indonesia.
Her longstanding interest on human rights and social welfare was demonstrated by her master thesis research, which explored the use of localization to establish multicultural human rights in Southeast Asia, as well as her previous involvement in volunteering and community works through Amnesty International Student Group Groningen and Jatinangor Education Care.
