Nasra Ibrahim, Program Manager, joined ABA ROLI's Asia & Pacific Division in November 2020. She manages the South Asia Transnational Partnerships against Money Laundering (Stop ML) which is an ABA ROLI regional program. She joined Stop ML program with six years of experience in Anti-money Laundering and Combating of Terrorism Financing (AML/CFT) in the Maldives. Prior to joining ABA ROLI, she was the Country Compliance Head of Habib Bank Maldives overseeing the AML/CFT compliance of the bank, ensuring that the bank is compliant to the AML/CFT laws and regulations of the Maldives as well as the internationally set standards. From 2013 to 2018, Nasra worked in the Financial Intelligence Unit of the Maldives Monetary Authority.
Ms. Ibrahim received BSc (hons) in Accounting and Finance from Anglia Ruskin University. She graduated from the University of Nottingham, Malaysia in 2020 with an MSc in International Development Management. She is currently studying the University of West England MBA at Villa College, Maldives.
