Monitoring and Evaluation Officer, Central African Republic

Baptiste Lushombo, Monitoring and Evaluation Officer in the Central African Republic, is an activist committed to the prevention of and response to gender-based violence, and the empowerment of women. He has worked as the M&E Officer in CAR since September 2015 and has contributed to the establishment of a monitoring and evaluation system as well as the capacity building of staff and partners on gender-based violence. In his position as M&E Officer, he supports the program in the implementation of project monitoring tools, the management of databases to safeguard information, and provides the program with reliable statistics, tracking of project indicators and progress, and testimonials from beneficiaries. Before joining the ABA ROLI family, Lushombo worked with the International Rescue Committee in the Democratic Republic of the Congo on programs for the protection and empowerment of women. He holds a degree from the Higher Institute of Rural Development ISDR-Bukavu in the DRC.
