Human rights-related ABA policies
ABA Harassment Policy: The American Bar Association prohibits verbal, sexual or physical harassment of any kind by any Member, Employee, or Contractor that disrupts another person’s duties or job performance or that creates an intimidating, offensive, abusive, or hostile work environment.
Combatting Trafficking in Persons Policy: The American Bar Association strongly opposes human trafficking and forced labor in any form and prohibits engaging in behaviors that facilitate or support trafficking or engaging in commercial sex transactions.
ABA Commission on Domestic and Sexual Violence aims to increase access to justice for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking by mobilizing the legal profession.
