    Advocate of the Month

    We are proud to honor Monte Frank as our Advocate of the Month for July 2022 for his tireless work to end gun violence. He currently represents Connecticut in the ABA’s House of Delegates and is the Chair of the Policy Subcommittee of the Standing Committee on Gun Violence. Monte is also a past president of both the Connecticut Bar Association and the New England Bar Association. When he is not advocating for evidence-based solutions to the gun violence epidemic, Monte competes on the road and in mountain bike and cyclocross races throughout the Northeast and Canada.

    About the Washington Letter

    The ABA Washington Letter is a monthly publication produced by the Governmental Affairs Office to report and analyze congressional and executive branch action on legislative issues of interest to the ABA and the legal profession. The newsletter highlights ABA involvement in the federal legislative process and focuses on the association's legislative and governmental priorities and other issues on which the ABA has policy.
