During the ABA Midyear Meeting in January 2019, the ABA Board of Governors will establish the Association's Legislative and Governmental Priorities for the 116th Congress. The Board’s designation of certain policy positions of the Association as Priorities focuses the advocacy efforts of the Governmental Affairs Office before Congress and the Executive Branch.
