If you’re managing substantial student loan debt, know that your bar association is working for you! Later this month, [the ABA is]/[we’re] supporting a five-day campaign during which you and your colleagues can learn how the issue is affecting others across the country and take your concerns directly to Congress!

September 20-24, 2021 will be the national Student Debt Week of Action, during which you and other lawyers across the country can join with members of other professions to better understand the impact student debt is having on borrowers, their families, and on society. You will also have a direct channel to share your personal story with your Members of Congress to urge them to act now to address this worsening national crisis.

Each day will focus on a different issue that ranges from the Impact on the Economy, the Strain on Mental Health, and PSLF. Just follow @ABAGrassroots across Twitter, LinkedIn, or Instagram to watch keynote speakers, industry experts, and the Members of Congress currently working on bills to address the issue.
