Morenike Moroof-Mustapha, Program Officer, joined ABA ROLI in April 2020. Morenike graduated from Duke University in 2020, where she holds a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Neuroscience. Throughout her academic career, she completed extensive coursework on international relations and security studies. While in college, Morenike studied abroad in Stockholm, where she focused on European institutions and security issues. She later returned to Sweden to conduct research on the effects of the nation’s counterterrorism and migration policies on Syrian refugees. Throughout her college career, Morenike also worked with organizations that promote gender equality in education and female empowerment, such as She’s the First and Girls Inc. Prior to joining ABA ROLI, Morenike worked as a Development and Communications intern at the Center for International Policy.
