Sam Mather joined the ABA Center for Global Program's Learning, Evidence, and Impact (LEI) team as a MEL Specialist  in January 2024 — for both the Rule of Law Initiative (ROLI)  and the Center for Human Rights (CHR). Previously, he worked on Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) and program design at the National Democratic Institute. He has also led data collection for studies in Uganda and India. He is interested in evidence, political development, and optimizing internal processes. He studied History and Political Theory at Michigan State.
