Prior to joining ABA ROLI in October 2021, Aishath Shaahy Habeeb worked as an intern in the Maldives Attorney General's Office. Ms. Shaahy served as the Board Secretary for the local non-profit organization, Regional Alliance for Fostering Youth (RAFY) and has also worked as an officer and coordinator for the Maldives Elections Commissions during the 2017 Local Council Elections. She holds an undergraduate degree in law from the University of Aberystwyth. Ms. Shaahy is currently working on the Strong and Inclusive Maldives Democracy Program.
