Sheridan Douglas, Program Associate, joined ABA ROLI in May 2024 after graduating summa cum laude from George Washington University with a BA in International Affairs, a concentration in International Development, and minors in French and Sustainability. During school, she worked at her university library and as a Gender Consultant on international development projects. As a consultant with LPG Consulting, she performed gender analyses (including GESI and GEID) on topics related to governance, sustainability, and social inclusion for USAID and other organizations. Her research identified the gendered impacts of development projects in African countries, some francophone. She also interned at the World Affairs Council of Seattle where she helped organize public events about current global affairs and host international visitors through State Department programs. She is originally from Seattle, Washington and has lived in DC for four years now. She has also lived in Paris where she studied abroad and earned a certificate of studies at Sciences Po. She has been speaking French for ten years and learning Russian for one year now.
