Caroline Denman is the Regional Director for the Africa Division at the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI), joining in 2024. Before ABA ROLI, Caroline worked at DT Global, where she served as the Business Development Director for their Governance and Economic Growth Practice, as well as in senior roles with International Rescue Committee, CRS, and DAI in both field and headquarter-based positions. Caroline brings close to two decades of professional stabilization and good governance experience, designing and implementing multi-million dollar activities on democracy promotion, rule of law and justice reform, peacebuilding, and post-conflict reconstruction, among other related technical areas. Furthermore, through her various roles, Caroline has accumulated experience working with a wide array of funders and donors, including various United Nations agencies, the European Union, the Ford Foundation, and numerous US Government entities, including USAID, Department of State, and Department of Defense. Throughout her career, Caroline has worked in over 20 countries around the world, assisting national partners to build their resilience, achieve lasting impact, and deliver more inclusive governance for their most vulnerable communities.
