Before joining ABA ROLI Asia division in January 2022, Millan was a junior associate at the New York offices of Linklaters LLP where she worked primarily with the Finance group on financing and security agreements. She interned with the World Bank Doing Business Project to analyze the efficacy of civil procedure codes in over 20 target jurisdictions in collaboration with local partners. She has also worked at the Ethiopian Investment Commission, an investment promotion agency under the federal government of Ethiopia, where she assisted in drafting bilateral investment treaties and federal investment legislation.
Millan earned her J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 2020 and her B.Sc. from George Washington University in 2015. She speaks English, Amharic, and intermediate French.
