Abby Attia, Senior Program Officer, joined the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) in 2020 as a Program Associate for the Women and Girls Empowered (WAGE) global consortium program after completing her graduate studies. Prior to joining ABA ROLI, Abby worked in anti-hunger advocacy at Bread for the World Institute, and with refugee relief services in Amman, Jordan. In addition to working in international development, Abby also worked in local government policy in Tennessee where she worked for the City of Chattanooga and the Metro Ideas Project. Abby has a M.A. in Middle Eastern Studies and Masters in Global Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. She also holds a B.A in Political Science from Lee University.
