Sharon Lydia Adongo is a Program Officer for ABA ROLI's Global Programs Division. Sharon started her career as an intern with the Federation of Women Lawyers in Kenya (FIDA-KENYA) where she collaborated with justice stakeholders to advance women’s rights in relation to gender-based violence. This internship grew her love for program work and as a result she worked in various capacities in implementing program work for different donors including USAID and the United Nations (UN). She also previously worked with Lawyers Without Borders in a project that established the first ever

Prosecutorial Training Institute in Kenya. Sharon received her (LLM)Master’s in International Human Rights Law from the Klau Centre for Civil and Human Rights at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana and is licensed to practice law within the Kenyan jurisdiction having been called to the Kenyan Bar in May 2017.
