Background
In 2024, ABA ROLI began working in Trinidad and Tobago, situated in the Caribbean, on anti-trafficking in persons (TIP) efforts. The country has struggled to enforce TIP laws and hold perpetrators accountable due to case backlogs, insufficient labor trafficking inspection training, and insufficient investigation and prosecutions skills needed to convict traffickers.
