Background
In 2008, the Himalayan nation of Nepal emerged as a democratic republic. ABA ROLI’s work in Nepal contributed to the country’s transition to a secular republic, where we engaged with citizens and raised awareness of rule of law-related issues, crafted judiciary provisions for a new national constitution, and addressed human rights abuses.
