Background
Situated in East Asia, Mongolia has faced a dire situation related to human trafficking; where men, women, and children are trafficked for exploitation and forced labor from Mongolia to countries in the region. From 2009-2012, ABA ROLI helped to increase criminal prosecution, encouraged victims to seek civil remedies, and to enhance witness protection.
