ABA ROLI Hosts First Roundtable Discussion under its APROE Program on Modernizing, Coordinating, and Resourcing U.S. Government Efforts to Fight Corruption

As part of the Anti-Corruption Policy and Research Outreach and Engagement (APROE) Program, the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) in conjunction with the U.S. Department of State Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs hosted a closed-door roundtable plenary session on the topic of, “Modernizing, Coordinating, and Resourcing U.S. Government Efforts to Fight Corruption.’’ The session sought to highlight and critique the contents of the United States Strategy on Countering Corruption (whitehouse.gov) (The Strategy), as well as the experiences of anti-corruption practitioners working for and within USG.

The plenary session had the following discussants:
