The American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) and the Colombian Presidential Counsellor for Stabilization and Consolidation organized an international seminar on transitional justice entitled: “The Transitional Justice Model in Colombia” from March 24-25, 2022. The event included expert panels on Transitional Justice international experiences, and they presented on the challenges in the implementation of the sanctions regime of the Special Jurisdiction for Peace (JEP for its acronym in Spanish ). Conclusions and recommendations based on lessons learned will serve to strengthen the ongoing judicial procedures in Colombia.
