The 2004 California Omnibus Franchise Bill (AB 2921, introduced by Assemblyman Cox) is the most extensive, and possibly most significant, set of changes to the California Franchise Investment Law (the “CFIL,” Corporations Code Sec. 31000 et seq.) since the CFIL was originally enacted.
