Christina Vassiliou Harvey is the Vice-Coordinator for the ABA YLD Member Service Project. She practices in the area of plaintiff’s personal injury at Lomurro, Davison, Eastman & Munoz, P.A. in Freehold, New Jersey.

The 2011–2012 year’s ABA YLD member service project is the Career Development Initiative (CDI). Each month, the CDI team features a different topic about which young lawyers can educate themselves and use to grow their practices.

The CDI uses a variety of media to maximize its audience, from live seminars at the ABA YLD’s five conferences to website postings, centralization of articles, teleconferences, and podcasts. The program has successfully completed half of its year-long mission with programs running monthly beginning in September 2011. ABA YLD members can review past programs by visiting www.americanbar.org/groups/young_lawyers/initiatives/career_development.html. Affiliate members can partake in listening parties on several topics, such as “Becoming a Law Professor” and “Becoming a New Partner.”
