Courses: Broad survey of Chinese law at China’s top-rated, prestigious Peking University includes classes on China’s history & political system, criminal law, currency manipulation, Sino-American relationship, trial practice & rules of evidence, contract law, rule of law, family law, IP rights, ADR, real estate law, foreign investment law & practice, business organizations, principles of civil law plus field trips to courts and law firms. Limited number of 3-week externships available (1.5 additional credits) or students may complete an independent study paper (0.5 credit at no additional cost).

Tuition $ Fees: $3,395 for 4.5 credits, includes instructional fees, books and materials, housing, double-occupancy housing, field trips, guided tours, and farewell banquet.

Housing: Double-occupancy room at new Zhongguanyuan Global Village Hotel. Single-occupancy room may be arranged for a fee on a space-available basis.

Admission Requirements: Completion of 1 year of law study before program starts. Also open to U.S. and foreign law students in good standing and to practicing attorneys.

Dingle, Galway, and Dublin

Courses: Law of the EU, Parts 1 & 2, Doing Business in Ireland, Intro to the Resolution of Int’l Commercial Disputes.

Tuition $ Fees: $4,550 for 5.5 credits, includes instructional fees, books and materials, field trips, tours, social events, and housing (except during summer break). Optional independent study paper for additional 0.5 credit available at no additional tuition cost.

Housing: Multiple-occupancy units include private bedroom, common living area, and fully equipped kitchen at Harbour Lodge Cottages in Dingle, on-campus in student apartments in Corrib Village at NUI in Galway, and Roebuck Hall at UCD in Dublin.

Admission Requirements: Completion of 1 year of law study in good standing before program starts. Also open to U.S. and foreign law students and practicing lawyers. Other graduate students or non-enrolled adult companions may enroll if space is available.
