Dates: Program A: May 15–June 13 Program B: May 15–May 30

Courses: Overview of Chinese legal system, focus on Chinese domestic law related to emerging market economy. Hosted by Renmin (People’s) University of China Law School. CLE credit available.

Tuition/fees: Program A: TBD for 4 weeks/5 credits, Program B: TBD for 2 weeks/2 credits, includes instruction, health insurance, double-occupancy housing, field trips, and scheduled sightseeing activities. Other anticipated expenses include travel to and from China, food, visa procurement, misc. expenses, plus tuition (if any) charged by the applicant’s school.

Requirements: Completion of 1 year of study in good standing at an ABA-approved law school. Also open to graduates of ABA-approved law schools. Practicing lawyers, foreign law students or foreign law graduates, or American or foreign applicants with graduate degrees in disciplines other than law may apply.
