Over thirty years ago, two lawyers represented an accused murderer who told them that he had killed other teenagers and where their bodies were. The lawyers' struggle to protect these confidences earned them disciplinary charges, criminal charges and death threats. The case remains a central one in the teaching of legal ethics. This program will re-examine the case and its impact.
