The ABA Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law (RPTE) and the ABA Section of Taxation again will co-sponsor the Fall CLE Meeting! The meeting will be held September 24–26 in Chicago, Illinois.
The Trust and Estate Division will offer topical CLE programming by experts in the field of trust and estate planning, as well as joint programming with the Section of Taxation. The Real Property Division will not offer CLE programming at this event; however, it will continue offering CLE programming through several ongoing CLE teleconferences and the Spring Symposium.
Be sure to take advantage of the opportunity to network with the country’s leading lawyers and government officials. There will be discussions of the latest initiatives, regulations, legislative forecasts, and planning ideas.
Watch for details at www.abanet.org/rpte.
If you are a member of the ABA Section of Real Property, Trust and Estate Law, take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the Section and join a group or committee. Group membership is free of charge to all RPTE members. Once you sign up for a trust and estate or real property group, you can then join a committee on a specific subject within that group. These smaller committees are working bodies; the larger groups accept members on an informational basis. The Section has 70 different committees involving over 3,000 Section members.
RPTE groups and committees develop new educational products for the real property and estate planning areas of law and provide the bar, legislatures, and Section members with current information about emerging legal issues.
