Robert J. Krapf

Rob Krapf is the executive vice-president of Richards Layton & Finger in Wilmington, Delaware. His practice focuses on a variety of transactional matters in real estate and land use law, and he represents regional and national developers, landlords, lenders, conservation organizations, and other institutions and individuals.

Early in his career as a real estate lawyer, Rob recognized that the Section provided an excellent opportunity to network with other attorneys in his practice area. In particular, he valued the Section’s CLE meetings as an important way to meet other lawyers from across the country and develop his expertise. Rob also was eager to continue Richards Layton’s long history of significant participation in the Section.

Over the last 20-plus years, Rob has served on several committees and groups. Most recently, he served on the Real Property Division Council and is now beginning his term as vice-chair of the Real Property Division. Rob feels that the Section has undoubtedly strengthened his network and expertise—and some of his closest friends are colleagues he met through the Section.

A frequent speaker on real estate, land use, and business law topics, Rob has written materials on real estate and land use regulation matters. In addition to his work in the Section, Rob is an active leader of several organizations. He is a trustee of the Delaware Art Museum and is on the editorial board of the Delaware Law Review.
