Description
This Annual fall "On The Docket" Supreme Court panel, developed in partnership with the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars United States Studies Program, focusing on the legal and media worlds will feature Dahlia Lithwick, senior editor and legal correspondent for Slate; Sherrilyn Ifill from the University of Maryland School of Law; Irv Gornstein, Of Counsel at O'Melveny and Myers; and Adam Liptak, Supreme Court correspondent, The New York Times. The panel will look ahead to the 2010 Supreme Court term and take an in-depth look at how the modern media covers our nation's highest court.

Every summer since 1997 the American Bar Association Division for Public Education and its publication PREVIEW of United States Supreme Court Cases has conducted an "On the Docket" program to examine different aspects of the Court's work. This fall, we are pleased to continue our expansion of this summer series.
