Among the Section’s recent efforts is a resolution encouraging the ABA House of Delegates to adopt a policy applying to law practice management the sustainability principles set forth in prior statements of ABA policy. Complete information about this effort is available at www.lawpractice.org.

ABA Women Rainmakers Mid-Career Workshop in Puerto Rico.
In conjunction with the LPM Section Fall Meeting to be held October 18-20, 2007, in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico, the ABA Women Rainmakers Mid-Career Workshop will take place on October 20-22 at the Rio Mar Beach Resort and Spa. The workshop will provide an interactive forum developed to give valuable insight and enhance the performance of the mid-career woman lawyer. Participants will be able to network with other successful lawyers, engage in focused topical discussions with knowledgeable legal professionals, and learn how to utilize tools to help assess the participant’s career, client relationships and personal lifestyle require-ments in order to maximize rainmaking capabilities.
