Best Wishes to Jeff Lubbers and Seth Miller
The Section will say goodbye to two staff members this summer. Jeff Lubbers has been with the Section for four years, first as the Section’s staff assistant, then as the Section administrator. He is leaving at the end of August to pursue a Master’s Degree in sociology at the George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. Jeff is a vital part of the Section as he ensures its smooth operation with his vast knowledge of the ABA and seemingly endless supply of patience.
Seth Miller joined the Section in the fall of 2005 as a part of the European Commission grant for the Death Penalty Moratorium Implementation Project. He contributed significantly to the success of the recent state assessment reports through his researching, writing, fact-checking, and tireless blue booking. Seth is moving on to work at the Florida Innocence Project in Tallahassee, Fla., where we are sure he enjoy great success.
We thank them for their work with the Section and wish them the best of luck in their future endeavors!
