2013 ABA Midyear Meeting
February 8–10, 2013
The Division is preparing for the ABA Midyear Meeting scheduled this year in Dallas, TX, at the Hilton Anatole. The Division will hold activities such as Military Lawyers Committee meeting; US Court of Appeals of the Armed Forces Swearing-in Ceremony; Keithe E. Nelson Memorial Military Law Luncheon; Executive Committee meeting; GPSolo Magazine Board meeting; Book Publications Board meeting; CLE; and social events. Additionally, you will want to attend the Solo and Small Firm Lawyers Caucus to meet other ABA members, to network with colleagues, to examine issues being addressed by the ABA that are of interest to and impact solo and small firm lawyers, to discuss issues of concern to solo and small firm lawyers, and to learn more about the Division and its programs.

It is never too early to start planning for this potentially once-in-a-lifetime chance to obtain CLE and experience the great state of Alaska and all the beauty it has to offer. You may even want to consider staying a few days before and after the meeting to enjoy Alaska outside of the meeting rooms. And remember: no sales tax!
