On 1/12/11, the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, Department of Justice (DOJ), announced a request for public comment on the office’s proposed plan for fiscal year 2011. Comments are due 2/28/11. FR2135.
On 1/12/11, the president issued proclamation 8622, to order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff at the White House, all public buildings and grounds, at all military posts and naval stations, and on all naval vessels of the federal until sunset, 1/14/11, to honor the victims who were wounded and killed while attending a “Congress on Your Corner” event hosted by Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) on 1/8/11, in Tuscon, AZ. FR2241.

On 1/12/11, the Veterans Health Administration, Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), announced a request for public comment on an proposed information collection, Veterans’ Suicide Prevention Program, to request an emergency OMB clearance to perform focus group activities and collect information to support outreach efforts to veterans who are experiencing mental health crises, and their families, in order to provide confident and trustworthy counseling.
