On 10/28/10, the Civil Rights Commission announced an 11/5/10 meeting in Washington, DC, to receive an update on the status on the impact of disparate school discipline policies, and for other purposes. FR66362.

On 10/28/10, the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), announced a request for public comment on a proposed information collection, the National Health Service Corps Information Follow-up Form, to be used by the National Health Services Corps ( NHSC) when exhibiting at national and regional conferences as well as when presenting on campuses to health profession students. On 10/29/10, HHS announced the implementation of Section 5001 of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (Pub. L. 111–5) for adjustments to the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2010 federal medical assistance percentage rates for federal matching shares for Medicaid and Title IV–E foster care, adoption assistance and guardianship assistance programs. On 10/28/10, HUD announced the availability on its Web site of applicant information, submission deadlines, funding criteria, and other requirements for HUD’s Fiscal Year 2010 Housing Choice Voucher Family Self-Sufficiency (HCV FSS) Program, to promote the development of local strategies to coordinate the use of assistance under the HCV program in order to make progress toward economic independence and self-sufficiency for those in need. On 10/29/10, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Community Planning and Development, HUD, announced a proposed rule with comment period regarding the regulations that will govern the Housing Trust Fund (HTF), to provide grants to state governments to increase the supply of rental housing for low-income and homeless families, and to increase homeownership for low-income and homeless families. On 10/29/10, the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing, HUD, announced a request for public comment on a proposed information collection, Notice of Funding Availability for Fiscal Year 2010 Capital Fund Community and Education Training Facilities, to develop facilities to provide early childhood education, adult education, and/or job training programs for public housing residents based on an identified need.
